漳光社区位于漳港街道东部沿海，东临仙岐村，西与漳港社区相邻，南部面海，北与路顶村交界。[1]

社区名称来自1962年的一次划分：当年从漳港大队中分出，单独建队，取名漳光。社区于2006年撤村改居。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

此地旧为漳港乡政府驻地。1958年一度称漳港镇，1962年为漳港镇下属的漳光渔业生产大队，1990年改设漳光村民委员会。2006年改设居委会，沿用至今。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2005年，福州市爱国卫生运动委员会授予本地「福州市卫生村」称号；2006年，长乐市社会治安综合治理委员会授予「平安村」称号；福建省爱国卫生运动委员会于2022年12月授予漳光社区「2022年福建省卫生社区」称号。[1]
