岐头社区位于营前街道西部，北面与营前社区相接，南面与洞头村相邻，西侧濒临闽江，隔江与马尾开发区相对[1]。社区由乡里、洋中厝、三座排三个自然村组成[1]。

地名与沿革[edit]

村后有岐鼻山，村前有码头，因此得名[2]。岐头村在1958年成立农业生产大队，1981年改设大队管理委员会，1985年设村民委员会，2006年转为社区居委会[3]。据百度百科，社区历史可追溯至宋代，曾有陈晔题刻的崖壁石刻出土[5]。

荣誉与文物[edit]

福建省爱国卫生运动委员会于2022年底授予岐头社区「2022年福建省卫生社区」称号[1]。岐头村大王宫内的岐山境兴修记碑为文物点[4]。社区现存岐头营田陈氏支祠和三座排古民居[5]。
