东关社区是吴航街道下辖的社区，位于街道东部，北侧以东鹤路为界，由原东关、东鳌两个居委会整合而成。[1]

沿革与名称[edit]

东风居委会是社区的前身，1964年3月设立。后来东关与东鳌两个居委会合并，改设东关社区，即今名，此事发生在2003年8月。[1]

社区名称来自这次整合：两个前身居委会合并后，即以东关定名。[1]

社区概况[edit]

辖区内有东鳌花园、东关小区、东汾小区、南华小区等六个居民生活小区，辖区其余部分是旧城区。日韵东方、汾阳楼中央公馆两处由物业公司管理，居民与东关村的村民彼此杂居。[1][2]

社区内及周边有朝阳中学、吴航中学、鳌峰小学、长乐市防疫站和中医院等单位。[1]

社区内的东关司马第是明代陈省的旧居，俗称官厅里，建于明万历年间。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2024年1月，东关社区被命名为「2023年福建省卫生社区」。[1]
