汶石村的村名因盛产汶石而来。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1984年设日溪乡汶石村委会。[1]此前，村子1975年并入郊区、改称日溪公社汶石大队；1971年北峰区成立时隶属芝铁公社；1961年12月归福州郊区；1949年12月划归闽侯县第八区（石牌区）。[1]民国时期属林森县。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
村边的汶石大王庙是一座清代建筑，见本乡名胜古迹。[2]
经济[edit]
2023年11月，汶石村被命名为「2023年度福州市‘绿盈乡村’建设中级版村庄」。[1]
文化[edit]
2024年1月，汶石村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]
