党洋村的村名来源于洋中的一道土垱。原称「垱洋」，因读音相近，后改为今名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1984年改为日溪乡党洋村委会。[1]此前，村子1975年并入日溪公社，1971年归北峰区，1961年12月归福州郊区并设党洋大队，1949年划归闽侯县第八区（石牌区）。[1]民国时期属林森县，明清时属五十七都。[1]

经济[edit]

2024年12月，党洋村被认定为「2024年度福州市‘绿盈乡村’建设中级版村庄」。[1]

文化[edit]

「2021年福建省卫生村」这一称号由福建省爱卫办于2021年11月授予党洋村。[1]
