南峰村的村名因其位于北峰山区的南面而得名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1984年改为日溪乡南峰村。[1]在此之前，此地于1975年合并郊区，改设日溪公社南峰大队；1971年由北峰区管辖，建制仍为南峰公社南峰大队；1961年归福州郊区；1949年划归闽侯县第八区（石牌区）；民国时属林森县。[1]

文化[edit]

2024年1月，南峰村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]
