梓山村的村名是「桑梓」的谐音，明代迁入时就已用此名，寓意是告诫子孙不忘祖籍。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1984年以后，此地为日溪乡政府的梓山村委会。[1]此前，村子1949年后隶属闽侯县第八区（石牌区），1961年归福州郊区，1971年归北峰区，1975年又归郊区；民国时期属林森县，明清则属五十七都。[1]
经济[edit]
2021年1月，梓山村被评定为「福州市乡村振兴中高级版试点村」。[1]2021年12月，村庄被确定为「福建省第二批高级版绿盈乡村（乡镇）」。[1]2023年12月，梓山村被认定为「2023年度福建省‘一村一品’专业村」，主导产业为食用菌。[1]
文化[edit]
「2021年福建省卫生村」这一称号由福建省爱卫办于2021年11月授予梓山村。[1]
