日溪乡是福建省福州市晋安区的一个乡，位于北峰山区的最北端，东面与连江县小沧乡相邻，乡政府驻日溪村。[1][5]乡境多山，晋安区的最高峰麒麟山海拔1129.3米，位于本乡与寿山乡的交界处。[4]

历史沿革[edit]

唐代此地属闽县同乐乡施化里，宋代改属怀安县，明代属侯官县同乐东乡，清代属侯官县小北岭区。[7]宋太平兴国六年（981年），北峰诸乡镇一带划入新设立的怀安县；明万历八年（1580年）怀安县撤销，并入侯官县。[3]

民国时期此地隶属闽侯县新店区，当时称密溪乡，1941年才更名为日溪乡。[2][7]地名旧称密溪，因与福州方言中一个不吉利的词同音，后改称日溪；地名由来的另一说法是溪水长流，日光一出便照在溪面上。[5][9]

1949年以后，此地先属闽侯县第八区（石牌区），1962年划入福州市郊区，设北峰公社；1970年改设日溪人民公社，隶属北峰区；1975年重归郊区。1984年政社分开后改称日溪乡。[2][7]1996年郊区改称晋安区，日溪乡保留乡的建制，划归晋安区。[3]

地理环境[edit]

乡境属北峰山区，北面与罗源县霍口乡相接，西面与闽侯县大湖乡为邻，南面经寿山乡可通往新店镇。[5]林木以松树、杉树为主，竹林也有一定规模。[6]汶洋、党洋、东坪等村一带蕴藏叶腊石矿。[6]

境内的北湖即山仔水库，水质符合国家二类饮用水标准，是福州市的第二水源。[6]2011年度，日溪乡被认定为「国家级生态乡镇」。[5]

人口民族[edit]

2019年末户籍人口6926人。[1]乡民以汉族为主，畲族也在此聚居。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

汶石大王庙位于汶石村边，是一座土木结构的清代建筑，始建年代不详。[10][12]庙内戏台后侧厢楼的木板上留有墨笔记录，记载了1880年至1947年间戏班来此演出的时间和剧目。[10][12]该庙于2015年8月公布为福州市级文物保护单位，保护范围为寺周围50米。[10]

店坂桥又称多桥亭，位于梓山村店坂一带，为木结构的单孔廊桥，全长32.3米，横跨溪涧。[10][11]桥屋横梁上墨书「大清嘉庆拾陆年辛未（1811年）」等字，据此该桥始建于1811年。[10][11]该桥1992年12月被定为区级文物保护单位；2020年1月2日，它被收入「福州市第八批市级文物保护单位」名单。[10][8]

梓山村村口另有一处文物点，名为梓山胜境，年代待定。[10]

铁坑村的游击队根据地遗址与革命史有关：1945年8月，党组织派人到此秘密开展游击活动，同年建立铁坑游击据点，此后渐渐成为游击队的根据地。[13]1946年3月，原设于小北岭的五县中心县委迁到铁坑村，村中一面转移革命力量，一面动员群众开展游击战争。[13]铁坑村地处连江、闽侯、罗源三县交界，村民为革命者带路、掩护，并筹集、搬运军粮。[13]

第四次全国文物普查补充名录（2026年3月公布）列有本乡的虎哨古道，属宋代古文化遗址，尚未定级。[14]
