历史沿革[edit]

民国年间，这一带隶属闽侯县同德乡的四十都；中华人民共和国成立后，划入闽侯县红寮乡。原有三个姓氏各占一组，另有一处自然村与之并列，后归并为长基村。[1]

文化[edit]

2022年12月，长基村被确定为「2022年度福州市中级版绿盈乡村」。2023年2月，长基村列入「福建省第三批高级版绿盈乡村」名单。2024年1月，长基村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]
