鹅鼻村是宦溪镇下辖的行政村，原称岭头村。村名来自鹅鼻岭路上一块陡峭的石头，它的形状像鹅的鼻子。鹅鼻岭是进城的必经之路。[1]

鹅鼻萝卜是本村的特产。2023年12月，村里被认定为福州市2023年市级「一村一品」专业村，主导产业为鹅鼻萝卜。鹅鼻萝卜获批「国家地理标志商标」。[1][2]
荣誉[edit]
2020年11月，鹅鼻村获「第六届全国文明村镇」称号。2023年11月，村里被命名为「2023年度福州市绿盈乡村建设中级版村庄」。[1][2]
