降虎村是宦溪镇下辖的行政村。村名来自村旁的山，山形仿佛一只虎自高处降临。村内有降虎红军墓。[1][2]

文化[edit]

1934年8月，北上抗日先遣队在降虎一带与国民党军交战，此后撤离，转至连罗苏区。1995年，村民在战斗处修了红军烈士墓，2002年6月，它被公布为晋安区文物保护单位。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2020年12月，降虎村被确定为「福建省第一批高级版绿盈乡村」。2021年11月，福建省爱卫办将村里定为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]

2024年2月，降虎村成为「第二批福建省乡村振兴示范村镇」的创建对象。[1][3]
