凤池村属福州市晋安区新店镇，为行政村，城乡分类为城乡结合区。相传山中有一池绿水，引来凤凰栖息，村因此得名。2024年1月，村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

唐代隶闽县怀贤里，两宋至元明中叶归怀安县，明末后属侯官县，清末为侯官县文山区，民国年间为闽侯（林森）县五区中新店区的辖地。中华人民共和国成立后归福州市洪山区。[1][2]

1966年改称红卫大队第一生产队；1980年起划入环城区新店公社的凤池农林场。1984年设村委会，隶郊区新店乡；1992年9月乡改为镇，村隶郊区新店镇；1995年改称凤池村，隶晋安区新店镇。[2]
