井店村属福州市晋安区新店镇，为行政村，城乡分类为城乡结合区。村名取自村中两个旧地名“下井”与“下店”各一字。2024年1月，村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
清末村地属侯官县西园区，民国时期隶闽侯县五区（新店区）。1949年12月归福州市洪山区，1952年底转为新店区辖地。[1][2]
1955年隶溪里乡；1958年并入新店人民公社；1960年重建新店区，同时设井店大队。1970年隶红卫（鼓楼）区，1975年归福州郊区，1977年一度属蔬菜区、环城区，1982年8月回归福州郊区井店大队。1984年废社建乡，设新店乡井店村委会；1992年起隶新店镇。[2]
