凤坂村在鼓山镇西部，位于福马路西侧，距镇政府约2公里。它与后浦村原为一个大村落，1996年分设为两个行政村。[1]
地名由来[edit]
村名的来历与一处传说中有凤凰穴的小山坡有关。“坂”即山坡，凤为鸟中之王，故此地又被称作王坂，这是当地的方言说法。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
九十年代以前，凤坂与后浦合为一个大村落。1996年经上级批准，此地设立凤坂村村民委员会，同时分为凤坂村和后浦村两个行政村。[1]
