地名由来[edit]
社区名取自流经辖区西北的鹿溪。鹿溪发源于园中的三十六弯古道，其上游称考溪。考溪之名来自古道，古时东郊学子进京赶考都走这条路。[2]
辖区范围内曾出过福州府历史上第一位状元许将，他的读书处龙首涧在鹿溪畔附近。社区以鹿溪命名，也与这一科举渊源相呼应。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
2023年3月，晋安区在鼓山镇新设立鹿溪等五个社区。[1]
同年4月，五个新社区举行揭牌。[2]
