2001年7月，原乐园居委会、象园居委会和连辉居委会的部分区域整合，组成乐园社区，隶属象园街道。[1]

文化[edit]

2021年2月，乐园社区入选「福建省2018-2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单。[1]

2021年11月，社区被福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生社区」。[1]
