环南社区位于福州二环路以南，属茶园街道。社区名称因其位于二环路南侧而来。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

环南社区是2013年10月底由原斗门社区与原环南社区合并而成的。斗门社区与环南社区都成立于2000年，前身分别由茶三、茶四居委会和茶一、茶二居委会合并而来。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2021年2月，环南社区入选「福建省2018-2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单。[1][4]

2021年8月，环南社区进入「2021年全国示范性老年友好型社区」名单，认定方为国家卫生健康委老龄司。同年11月，福建省爱卫办命名环南社区为「2021年福建省卫生社区」。[1]
