闽江村位于闽江口的琅岐岛西南部，在雁行江西北岸，隔江与亭江镇相望。[1]
地名[edit]
村名因闽江而来。[1]
渔业[edit]
村民以渔业为主要生计。早年渔户从闽江内的船上转入大海捕捞，作业范围从福建沿海延伸到浙江、江苏、山东、广东的沿海。近年渔业资源严重衰退，大部分渔民已转产转业。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2022年12月，闽江村获得「2022年福建省卫生村」称号，由省里的爱国卫生运动委员会命名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
此地本是纯渔业村，无耕地。新中国成立后归闽侯县第二区的闽琅镇，当时称公婆乡。1961年12月转入闽侯县闽江乡，改称公婆大队。1970年分出胜利、建星两个渔业大队和公婆家属大队；1984年变成三个建制村，2000年7月起并入琅岐镇。2004年7月，三村合为闽江村。[2]
