凤窝村处于琅岐岛西北一带，村域三面是山，一面临江；北边与连江县相邻，南边接琅岐环岛路。[1][2]

地名[edit]

村子古称凤山，又名王埔山；「王埔」在福州方言中读音相近，演变为「凤窝」。[1]

古迹与炮台[edit]

里街、十字街、树下街等老街巷至今保留着古风遗迹。[1]

博雅地名网把金牌炮台列在凤窝村，百度百科则只说它位于琅岐岛金牌山，两者的位置说法并不一致。[4][5] 村中烟台山顶的烟台山炮台遗址，见琅岐镇条目。[4]

荣誉[edit]

2022年12月，凤窝村被确定为「2022年度福州市中级版“绿盈乡村”」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年编为凤窝大队；1961年12月起归福州市郊区管辖。1984年称琅岐乡凤窝村，1995年11月划入马尾区琅岐镇。[3]
