琅岐镇位于闽江入海口，镇域主体是琅岐岛。岛的东侧面海，对岸是马祖列岛，其余三面被闽江水道环绕。[1][2] 岛上土层厚、水土条件好，适宜多种蔬果生产，葡萄和叶绿菜是较突出的作物，2022年4月被纳入农业产业强镇的创建范围。[2][5] 岛上留存有清代炮台、祠堂，以及南兜游击队等革命遗址。[4]
地理环境[edit]
琅岐岛位于闽江口北侧，北面隔水道与连江县的粗芦岛、壶江岛相望，西侧与亭江镇毗邻，南面与长乐区的浮岐洲接壤。[2][6] 据百度百科，镇域面积88.28平方千米；博雅地名网则作约92平方千米，其中陆地约55平方千米，滩涂约37平方千米。[1][2]
历史沿革[edit]
唐代，此地隶属闽县的晋安乡，宋代称晋安东乡。元代两里并为一里，名为嘉登海曲里；明代简称嘉登里，清代改属闽县东南二区的嘉屿区。[3]
1934年起先后归属闽侯县。新中国成立后的1949年8月，岛上成立了一个军民联合的办事机构，负责闽江口一带事务；同年底它又回到闽侯县第二区管辖。1958年撤区并乡，改设琅岐镇，同年组建人民公社；1961年划入福州市郊区，1970年至1975年间曾归连江县。1984年改称琅岐乡，1991年10月再改为琅岐镇，当时下设九个管理区、三十九个行政村及一个居委会。[3]
改由马尾区管辖的时间为1995年11月。[3]
镇名的来历，博雅地名网的说法是：岛俗称「刘岐」，因早年刘姓人家迁居岛上，方言读音相近，逐渐演变为「琅岐」。[2]

岛上蔬果种植是镇里的主要产业。政府网站介绍，琅岐岛土层厚、水土条件好，适合多种蔬果，镇里把叶绿菜列为重点发展的品类，并推进智慧农业和良种推广。[5]
2022年4月，琅岐被纳入农业产业强镇的创建范围。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]
金牌炮台位于琅岐岛金牌山，地处闽江金牌门水道南岸，与北岸的长门炮台隔江对峙。清康熙五十七年（1718年）始建，道光二十九年（1849年）由林则徐主持重修；1941年遭日军摧毁，1986年列为马尾区文物保护单位。[8]
江涛烈士陵园在鳌山公园内，始建于1988年，建筑面积1600平方米，为县级烈士纪念设施。[9] 江涛1912年生于琅岐上岐村，1929年入党，1941年4月在周宁县遇害。[4]
琅岐朱子祠在下岐，奉祀南宋理学家朱熹，又称紫阳祠、罗峰书院，前后两进，殿堂之后为文昌阁；2017年重修后，建筑大体仍维持清代祠堂样式。[4]
南兜游击队旧址在南兜村，是1948年由当地党组织领导的游击队开会和活动的场所。1949年8月，该队协助解放军攻下连江与福州。2020年1月，该旧址被定为区级文保单位，属第九批。[4]
林存墓在龙台村龙山，为宋代墓葬，墓碑刻「宋参政林存墓」。墓道石雕原有六对，现仅余两尊翁仲，移置龙台村口。[4][7] 林存为琅岐龙台人，博雅地名网载其为宋端平二年（1235年）进士，百度百科则作嘉熙二年（1238年）举词科。[4][7]
凤窝烟台山炮台遗址在凤窝村烟台山顶。1883年动工，尚未完工便在中法马江海战中被毁，1900年重新修建，共有两组四个炮位。2020年1月，它被定为区级文保单位，同样属第九批。[4]
