地名由来[edit]
博雅地名网称，村民的先人原居长柄山中，迁居后为怀念故地而取名长柄。[6]
历史沿革[edit]
清末此地属闽县嘉屿区（东南二区）。民国后划入闽侯县闽安镇区第三区，成为长柄村。解放后，它先后隶属闽侯县第三区、马尾区与亭江区。1954年组建初级社，此时村子隶属象洋乡；1956年改办高级社，1958年设长柄大队并归亭江乡。1961年12月村子改属福州市郊区，1963年至1969年间为亭江区闽安公社的长柄大队，1971年改由马江区亭江公社领导，1975年回归郊区亭江公社。1984年9月设为亭江乡长柄村，1988年起称亭江镇长柄村，1995年11月划归马尾区亭江镇。[2][7]
侨乡与人口[edit]
据2024年马尾区政府网站的报道，长柄村户籍人口1200多人，海外侨胞却有5000多人，是有名的侨村。博雅地名网也载村中旅居海外的侨胞多达5000多人。[5][1]
20世纪80年代以来，侨胞陆续出资，为村子修筑了水泥路，并捐建了影剧院，以及小学、敬老院、公园、老人活动中心、凉亭与水库等公共设施。[3]
南洋厝[edit]
村中建筑多为中西合璧的青砖楼房，称为南洋厝，多建于20世纪五六十年代，每栋建筑背后都有一段侨胞的奋斗故事。2022年2月的报道称村中保留43栋南洋厝，2024年的报道则称有200多栋青砖南洋厝，两者统计口径不同，此处并列。[4][5]
文物与文化[edit]
村中的朱子祠又称龙津书院，据马尾区政府网站介绍，它是福州现存规模较大、保存较完整的朱子祠之一，为区级文物保护单位。相传南宋理学家朱熹曾在此讲学。2014年启动修缮，2020年起布展，据2022年的报道施工尚在收尾。[3][4]
村内还保存有宋代铁冶场与宋窑址。2021年，村股份经济合作社与企业联合运营龙津书院，开展古琴、汉服、吟诵等文化活动。[3][4]
荣誉[edit]
2020年11月，长柄村入选首届「福州十大魅力乡村」。[1]
2021年1月，长柄村被评定为「福州市乡村振兴中高级版试点村」。[1]
2021年2月，长柄村列入「福建省2018-2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单。[1]
2021年12月，长柄村被确定为「福建省第二批高级版绿盈乡村（乡镇）」。[1]
2024年2月，长柄村被确定为「第二批福建省乡村振兴示范村镇」创建对象。[1]
2025年3月，长柄村被命名为「第七届全国文明村镇」。[1]
2025年5月，长柄村被认定为福州市2025年市级「一村一品」专业村，主导产业为乡村旅游。[1]
