象洋村是亭江镇辖下的一个村子，濒临闽江，104国道从村中穿过。它旧时称作闽县合北里的象洋墩，属于闽江口一带的侨乡。[1][2]

村名与村前环绕的群山形状有关。村中保留有王氏、张氏、唐氏等宗祠与古民居，烈士王助的纪念馆也设在村内。[1][2][3]

地名由来[edit]

博雅地名网称，村前的群山像五头大象环绕着，又如五象朝向洋田，于是叫做象洋，也称象峰。[1]

村子背靠卧牛山与金山，土地肥沃，交通便利。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

清末，此地归闽县东二区江右里。民国后改归闽侯县闽安镇区、第二区、第三区。解放后，此地先设象洋乡，之后归闽侯县第三区、马尾区与亭江区。1956年，村子办起象洋高级社，1958年建象洋大队，1961年12月起划归福州市郊区。1963年至1969年间，它隶属亭江区闽安公社，成为象洋大队；1971年转入马江区亭江公社，1975年又回到郊区亭江公社。1984年9月称亭江乡象洋村，1988年12月起为亭江镇象洋村，1995年11月划归马尾区亭江镇。[4]

古迹与纪念馆[edit]

村中有清代古民居花庭，以及老爹埕一带的三落三进民房。村内另有树兜王氏宗祠，以及吴航王氏宗祠、张氏宗祠与唐氏宗祠，还有泰山宫、元帅宫与老君庙。[2]

王助烈士纪念馆设在王氏宗祠之后，馆内陈列烈士的革命经历、实物与领导人题词。王助1914年生于象洋的书香之家，1931年由叶飞等人介绍入党，1934年中央主力红军长征后，他率部在闽北坚持三年游击。[2][3]
