前洋村隶属亭江镇，在闽江北岸内侧，白眉水库下游。村子所在地形偏于半山，林木较多。[1]

村名的由来与村前的一片洋田有关。1984年改为前洋村，1995年11月划归马尾区亭江镇。[3][2]

地名由来[edit]

博雅地名网称，村前有大片田地，因而取名前洋。[3]

地理与交通[edit]

村子离镇政府约8公里，离104国道约6公里，闽白公路横贯村中，九曲的邢港绕村流过。博雅地名网所载村子土地面积为7.82平方千米。[1]

村内多山地，树木茂密，生态条件较好，适合发展休闲农业与登山活动。[1]

博雅地名网载，村中约有260余户村民，户籍人口700多人，实际在村居住的约400人。旅居海外的侨胞则有1200多人。村集体经济基础薄弱，收入主要靠出租土地。该页未注统计年份。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年，此地属闽侯县第三区马尾区。1950年至1956年间，村子先后设立了三个公社与高级社。1958年成为前洋大队，1984年改为前洋村，1995年11月划归马尾区亭江镇。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2021年4月，前洋村因2020年度的乡村振兴成效突出，被福建省列为实绩突出村。[1]

福建省爱卫办于2021年11月把前洋村列为卫生村，称号为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]

2023年2月，前洋村列入福建省第三批高级版绿盈乡村名单。[1]

2024年12月，前洋村被认定为福州市2024年市级「一村一品」专业村，主导产业为脐橙。[1]
