笏山村是亭江镇的一个行政村，地处闽江下游北岸。村子东接盛美村，西接鳌溪村，南面与象洋村相连，北面背靠新店山。[1]

村名是1958年改定的，取自村中的笏山自然村，与村西山石上的一个「山」字有关。[3]

地名由来[edit]

博雅地名网称，村下的一块石头形如古代大臣朝见君王时手持的牙笏，村西的西义山腰岩石上还有一个「山」字，于是1958年改称笏山。村名是以村委驻地的笏山自然村得来的。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

清末此地属闽县东二区江右里。民国后归闽侯县闽安镇区、第二区、第三区管辖。解放后，它先后隶属闽侯县第三区、马尾区与亭江区。1958年成立笏山大队，1961年12月改归福州市郊区。1963年至1969年间，村子归亭江区闽安公社管理，为笏山大队；1971年转由马江区亭江公社领导，1975年又划归郊区亭江公社。1984年9月，此地改称亭江乡笏山村。[2]

2006年，笏山村被评为区级平安村。[1]

2021年11月，福建省爱卫办将笏山村列为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
