历史沿革[edit]
据称建村已逾一千三百年。相传邵平后裔南迁入闽，先分居闽江南岸，后又分派一支到朏山，即今朏头村。村民至今以邵姓为主。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
村中的青龙寺相传建于唐代中期，历代几经重建与修缮。[1]
田间旧有一座名为“士岭”的小丘，是中法战争马江海战中牺牲的海军战士的埋葬处。该地今已改建为和平公园，园中立有纪念碑。[1]
民间传说[edit]
据当地流传，每月农历初十前后，朏头后山的月魄格外明亮，邻近村庄的人便知天将破晓。[1]
