地名由来[edit]

原秋峰、元丰两村的名称中都有「峰」字，两村合并后取名双峰村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1956年前后，此地有元丰、秋峰两个高级社；1958年改为两个大队；1984年改称元丰村、秋峰村；1991年10月23日两村合并，定名双峰村。[1]

据博雅地名网，1985年，两村因山区交通不便、可开发资源较少，村民迁到104国道23公里处。[1]

荣誉[edit]

双峰村获「2023年福建省卫生村」称号，时间为2024年1月。[1]
