地名由来[edit]
村原为江中沙洲，居民在洲上种草，草色青绿，遂得名青洲。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
清末此地属闽县东二区，1935年属闽侯县第三区，1958年设青洲大队，1995年11月改为罗星街道的青洲村。[1]

1985年开发区设立时，村中平原耕地全部被征用。村落现辖路上、青洲新村、横墩、洲尾新村、红山五个自然村。[2]
