历史沿革[edit]
因地处通往高盖山北口的头一个村落而得名。1958年设首山大队，1984年起称首山村委会。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
高盖山烈士墓园在高盖山天池顶。墓园安葬的是1949年8月解放福州的战斗中受伤后留下治疗的解放军伤病员，共有38位解放军官兵。[1][2]
据博雅地名网，村内的历史古迹有建于唐代的高盖山妙峰寺。[2]
