闽江村位于福州市仓山区南台岛东面，紧靠闽江大道，古称亭头村。村名取自毗邻的闽江大道。[1]

此前村庄属建新镇的建华管理区，2003年划入金山街道辖区。村内设4个村民小组，计265户、935人（博雅地名网未注年份）。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村名原为亭头村，1958年更名为闽江村，1959年正式成立。2000年以来，村内约1200亩耕地被征用，所剩仅3亩左右。[1][2]
