公园社区是福建省福州市仓山区仓前街道下辖的社区，社区名与一段「公园路」的来历有关：清光绪初年此处租地建成跑马场，民国后改称林森公园。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清光绪初年，英国领事牵头向清政府租地修建跑马场，清政府征民田350余亩供其租用，每年收租银1000两。[1]

民国后，跑马场改建为「林森公园」，「公园路」因此得名。社区的前身，1959年由麦园居委会析出，独立设为公园居委会，1968年曾改称中越居委会，1979年恢复原名。[1]
