亚峰社区地处福州市台江区东南部，属鳌峰街道。[3]

社区是把振兴、亚新两个文明小区，连同其他三个居委会的一部分，合在一起设立的，名称取自其所在的亚峰一带。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

2001年4月，这里开始社区建设，属福州市首批试点之列。[1]

同年5月25日，成立的居民委员会以社区命名，是福州市第一个这样命名的居委会，即亚峰社区居委会。[1]

地理环境[edit]

博雅地名网记社区总面积0.87平方千米，百度百科则记1.54平方千米，两者相差较大，未注年份。[2][3]

辖区内有中学、小学各一所，幼儿园两所，老人活动中心四个。亚峰公园与体育健身长廊是社区的公共空间，另有两个中心广场，各可容纳三千人以上。[2][3]
