金斗社区位于台江区洋中街道的中心一带，东至八一七中路，西至洋中路，南至学军路，北至工业路，因地处金斗山范围内而得名。[1][4]

历史沿革[edit]

1956年社区设立居委会，文革中改称东升居委会，1979年恢复原名。[2]

2001年，原居委会与村委会整合为9个社区之一；2014年8月又整合为洋中街道4个社区居委会之一。[3]

社区于2021年2月上榜「福建省2018-2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单。[1]
