中平社区是福州市台江区苍霞街道下辖的社区，位于闽江北岸，东起解放大桥桥头，西至支前路，北以中平路为界。社区面积0.158平方千米。[1][2]

社区由原中平、正义、轮工、苍霞、支前和青年会6个居民委员会部分整合而成，属地缘型社区。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

社区成立于2001年底。2013年底，原田垱社区并入，合并后仍称中平社区。[1]

名称由来[edit]

社区名称取自贯穿辖区的中平路。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

社区内有一处曾列入台江十景的胜景，名为“苍霞夕照”。另有区级文物保护单位状元楼，建成于民国初年，为西式建筑。[2]
