历史沿革[edit]

1996年1月区划调整时，义洲街道新增保兴居民委员会。[2]

社区于2002年2月3日成立。博雅地名网另载社区成立于1997年，百度百科则称社区历史可追溯到1997年，两种说法并存。[1][3]

地理环境[edit]

西面是宁化路，南面是白马路，北面是工业路，东面与泰山社区相接。[1]

“保”有看守、护持之意，“兴”即兴起，社区以此为名。[1]
