义洲街道是福建省福州市台江区下辖的一个街道，位于台江区西部，白马河横贯辖区中部。街道1955年5月成立，现辖浦东、泰山、浦西、奋斗、保兴5个社区，另有1个红旗经济合作社。辖区面积0.86平方千米，常住人口29808人。[1][4][5]

历史沿革[edit]

街道名称来自闽江中的一块沙洲。北宋以后，江水泥沙淤积，洲渐成形。汛期南台海防的锣夫驻守洲上，遇汛情鸣锣示警，这块洲因此叫锣夫洲；它又处在其他沙洲的外围，被称为外洲。福州话里“外”与“义”同音，于是写作义洲。[2][5]

街道成立于1955年5月，当时辖区内有14个居民委员会。1995年6月，宁化居委会一分为二，增设宁化二居委会。1996年1月调整区划，福机、坡尾、宁化、宁化二四个居委会改归新设的宁化街道，汀州、亭前、示范三个居委会并入双杭街道，河下居委会归帮洲街道；太平、奋斗、洋中新村三个居委会从洋中街道划入，同时新增保兴、宜春两个居委会。1998年增设元兴居委会。[3][4]

2001年，南禅、浦东、泰山、浦西等13个居民委员会和红旗村民委员会被重新组织成8个社区（均属地缘型），随之成立了对应的社区居民委员会。2006年整合为7个社区居委会，2014年8月再整合为奋斗、浦东、保兴、浦西、泰山5个社区居委会和1个红旗经济合作社，即今日的格局。[3]

街道先后获得省级「劳动关系和谐街道」「科普先进街道」「规范化司法所」称号，市级「先进基层团组织」「平安先行街道」「红旗团委」「巾帼文明岗」等称号，以及区级「先进基层党组织」称号。[1]

地理环境[edit]

街道位于台江区西部，东侧以洋中路为界，西侧抵达宁化路，北侧挨着工业路，南侧靠近江滨大道，东南面与后洲、苍霞两街道接壤。[1]

白马河横贯辖区中部，明代“南台十景”中的“白马观潮”即在这段河上。[5]

人口民族[edit]

街道辖区面积0.86平方千米。据台江区人民政府网站，常住人口为29808人，另有流动人口4336人。[1] 百度百科记载的2011年末人口数为36580人。[4]

名胜古迹[edit]

白马桥横跨白马河，原为三墩四孔的石构平梁桥，后因城市建设填河造地，只余二墩三孔。全桥长95米，宽3米，桥墩以条石叠砌。现存桥体建于清同治时期，即1862年至1875年之间。该桥1992年已列为福州市文物保护单位，2013年曾全面整修并恢复通行。[6]

南禅山上曾建有南禅寺，该寺在1917年遭火灾焚毁。[5]
