历史沿革[edit]
1996年设立时，该社区名为湖井居委会，2000年更名为广厦社区居委会[1]。它的前身为省直湖前小区，该小区于2000年率先接入全省第一条社区宽带线路；2001年入选「数字福建」示范区信息化试点，此后有了省内第一个居民电子阅览室与水电远程抄表系统[2]。
