五凤街道是福建省福州市鼓楼区下辖的街道，位于鼓楼区西北部，是全区面积最大的街道[1][6]。街道以辖内的五凤山得名；1995年12月20日设立五凤街道办事处，1996年元旦挂牌成立[3][5]。辖区内有福州软件园，驻有多家部队和省直机关单位[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

秦代此地属闽中郡，汉初归闽越国管辖，之后又隶于冶县与侯官县；隋朝时划入原丰县，此后改名闽县[3]。唐朝时闽县与侯官县各管一部分，宋朝则由怀安县和侯官县分管，明清两代的归属与唐朝相近[3]。1913年此地划为闽侯县辖区，1944年该县更名林森县[3]。

1949年分属鼓楼区与洪山区，1957年分属华大街道与洪山街道，1960年又分属华大人民公社与洪山人民公社。「文化大革命」期间划归红武街道办事处与洪山人民公社，1995年再分属华大街道、新店镇与洪山镇[3]。

1995年12月20日成立的五凤街道办事处，辖区由原华大街道的八个居委会（屏西、国棉、福飞、马鞍、五凤新村、铜盘、龙腰、梅峰）与几个村庄构成，其中湖前村原属新店镇，华大村、泉塘村与五凤村原属洪山镇[3]。如今辖区内设11个社区，另有湖前、泉塘、五凤、华大四个经合社（村）[1]。

地理环境[edit]

街道辖区面积9.625平方千米[1][6]。东侧以外福铁路为界，南端与福飞路相接，西端在梅峰路与北环西路的交会处，北面的外福铁路一带与闽侯县毗邻[1][6]。街道名取自辖内的五凤山[2][4]。

人口[edit]

2020年常住人口8.95万人，户籍人口7.27万人[6]。街道网站的简介称辖区常住人口为9.58万人，未注明统计年份[1]。

机关与单位[edit]

辖区内驻有十余家部队单位，既有公安消防和武警边防机构，也有省级法院、税务、科技与出入境管理部门[1]。街道网站称，福州软件园所在的这片辖区是福建省规模最大的软件园区[1]。

名胜古迹[edit]

林则徐墓位于马鞍村金狮山麓，据百度百科，马鞍村属铜盘社区辖区[7][8]。林则徐于1851年归葬此地；1988年1月13日，该墓列入第三批全国重点文物保护单位名录[8]。

左海公园位于左海社区辖区，始建于1990年，占地35.47公顷，以「五洲风光」为主题[9]。辖区内另有北禅寺等古迹[1]。
