开元社区是福建省福州市鼓楼区鼓东街道下辖的社区，东侧以井大路为界，西接尚宾路，南面临卫前街，北面靠湖东路。社区名称取自当地名胜开元寺。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

博雅地名网作开元寺始建于梁太清三年（549年），原名灵山寺；百度百科则作梁太清二年（548年）始建，初名大云寺。两者的年代与初名不同。[1][3]

唐开元二十六年（738年）寺院改名为开元寺，社区便以此得名。[1][3]

社区于1969年更名为卫建居委会，1978年复用原名，1983年析分出两个居委会，此后沿用开元之名。[1]

社区党委成立于2008年6月。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

百度百科称，七穿井位于井楼门，今属开元社区，始建于唐代，1992年列为福州市市级文物保护单位。井口直径4.1米，深8.4米，井面由四块大石条覆盖，石缝间凿有七个汲水孔，因此得名。[4]

文化[edit]

2021年2月，社区列入「福建省2018-2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单。[1]
