大西村是浙江省杭州市萧山区党湾镇下辖的行政村，位于党湾镇政府西南方。村名因地处已废大悲庵的西面而来。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村子离萧山国际机场和沪杭高速公路都很近，琉新线、梅林大道与爱华路穿过附近，交通便利。村域面积约1.5平方千米，耕地2238亩。[1]

人口[edit]

村内设20个村民小组，农户856户，常住人口2814人，另有外来人口600余人。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村子最早的名称是红旗大队。20世纪30年代，这一带的「大悲西」「大西村」属六都五图；建国初划入梅西公社，公社化后为梅西公社红旗大队。[1]

「文化大革命」期间一度改称红卫大队，之后恢复为红旗大队。1984年改设村民委员会，隶属梅西乡；1992年5月后划归党湾镇，村名此后沿用。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年5月，村庄被命名为「萧山区2020年度平安村（社区）」。[1]
