党湾镇位于浙江省杭州市萧山区东部，处在钱塘江南岸、萧绍平原中部，镇政府驻卫东桥社区，离萧山城区约28千米。[1][2]镇名来自此地旧称的「党山湾底」：党山湾曾纵贯境内，并在这里注入钱塘江。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

这里原是钱塘江的江道，清初逐渐淤为滩涂；清光绪二十八年（1902年）筑起堤塘，四周农民陆续迁入开垦。[3]

1932年设立党湾镇，此后改为乡制：1939年称党湾乡，1949年9月仍为乡。1961年7月，党湾与梅西两地分设公社，同属义蓬区。[2][3]

1984年5月，党湾乡与梅西乡并列；1989年11月，党湾由乡改为镇。1992年5月，梅西乡并入此镇，镇域延续至今。[1][3]

地理环境[edit]

镇域四邻分别是：东面益农镇，南面瓜沥镇，西面靖江街道与钱塘区义蓬街道，北面钱塘区新湾街道。东西两端相距约7.73千米，南北相距约6.71千米。[2]

行政区划[edit]

截至2021年10月，全镇辖1个社区、17个行政村。[2]2022年6月，党湾镇幸福里社区成立，镇内社区增至2个。[5]

荣誉[edit]

2014年6月，党湾镇获环境保护部授予「2012—2013年度国家级生态乡镇」称号；2015年2月，党湾镇获中央文明委授予的「第四届全国文明村镇」称号。[4]

2020年7月29日，全国爱卫会将党湾镇命名为「2017-2019周期国家卫生乡镇（县城）」。[2]2024年1月，党湾镇被列入「2023年浙江省现代化美丽城镇示范镇」建设名单。[4]
