群英村是益农镇的行政村，1984年5月15日设立，位于萧山最东部的围垦区。[1]

地名[edit]

1969年下半年，原夹灶、党山、长沙等公社的群众挑泥拦海，围起约一万八千亩的二围垦，村名即由此取意。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村由原夹灶公社九个大队的移民组成，他们在1973年至1983年间分批迁到二围垦。村设立于1984年5月15日。[1]

当时隶属夹灶公社，1987年7月改属益农乡。1992年5月，夹灶、益农两乡合并，村名定为益农镇群英村，沿用至今。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2020年1月，村列入「浙江省2019年度省级民主法治村（社区）」名单。[1]

2021年5月，村被命名为「萧山区2020年度平安村（社区）」。[1]

2024年3月，村入选「浙江省第四批未来乡村创建村」名单。[1]
