长北村是益农镇的行政村。1997年1月，原里长锋、北江两村合并，改名为长北村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村址原为钱塘江的水域。20世纪60年代大规模围海造田之后，1975年和1976年间，长沙、党山两个乡镇及瓜沥的部分村民迁来此地围垦定居，分别建立里长锋大队和北江大队，隶属长沙公社。[1]

此后，1979年村域改归益农公社；1984年各大队统一改称村；1997年1月两村并为长北村，隶益农镇。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年5月，村被命名为「萧山区2020年度平安村（社区）」。[1]
