1976年，原党山公社的移民在此建村，村名来自所在的第三期围垦区域。[1]

产业[edit]
约八成农户从事种植业，大棚蔬菜以芹菜、南瓜、瓠瓜、葫芦、大蒜为主，另有玉米和水稻。[2]
村里建有年交易量达10万吨的蔬菜交易市场，并配有冷库、育苗中心和电商平台。[2]
据百度百科，村内八成以上土地用作设施蔬菜，称杭州市规模最大的设施蔬菜基地。[1]
