益农村位于益农镇南部，地处萧绍交界，南面与绍兴马鞍集镇相连。村内有农户574户，截至2020年，人口1796人。[1][3]

地名[edit]

村名因村内地段的一座益农闸而得名。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

村域有百余年历史，原属绍兴县塘北乡。民国时期村中设有花行和盐行，多船埠，不少自然村因此以埠名命名。[2]

1956年划归萧山后，村以附近的益农闸得名，成立益农生产合作社。人民公社时期叫益农大队，隶属党山公社。1961年夹灶公社成立后称夹灶公社益农大队；1984年后称夹灶乡益农村；1992年，夹灶、益农两乡合并，改称益农镇益农村。[2]

地理与产业[edit]

村域面积3平方千米，耕地面积1.24平方千米，其中围垦0.31平方千米。村内辖12个村民小组，党老线、信益线贯穿全村。[1][3]

村庄以第二产业为主，大棚番茄是本村的特色农产品。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2021年5月，村被命名为「萧山区2020年度平安村（社区）」；2021年，村获评区级文明村。[2][3]
