益农镇位于萧山区东端，靠近钱塘江南岸，处在萧绍平原中部，即杭州与绍兴的交界地带。镇域面积约46.5平方千米（2017年）。截至2024年3月，镇内设19个行政村和1个社区。[1][5]
益农镇的前身是钱塘江口的滩涂，经围垦与移民定居后逐渐成村。1992年，夹灶、益农两乡合并设镇。[3]
历史沿革[edit]
益农镇东部大部分在20世纪50年代仍是钱塘江口的滩涂。1956年2月此地划归萧山，此后隶属与名称几经变化：1958年并入英雄公社，1959年英雄公社改名党山公社，1961年又设夹灶公社。[3]
1971年起移民在此定居垦殖。1976年2月设益农公社筹建小组，1977年间进行五次围垦并设益农围垦指挥部，1978年益农公社正式建立。[3]
1984年5月，夹灶、益农两公社改设夹灶乡和益农乡；1992年5月两乡并为益农镇。2006年1月，一块26.4平方千米的区域由萧山区农业对外综合开发办管理，此时划入本镇，行政区划与名称延续至今。[3]
地理环境[edit]
益农镇北与钱塘区临江街道接壤，东与绍兴市滨海工业区相邻，南面与绍兴市马鞍街道相接。[1]
104国道由镇内穿过，党益、新东两条公路东西向横贯全镇。杭甬高速的绍兴、柯桥、瓜沥三个道口距镇均在8公里以内，乘车至杭州萧山国际机场约需20分钟。[2]

据百度百科，户籍人口为43600人，流动人口为26066人。常住人口为69666人，统计时点为2024年3月。[1]
农业与物产[edit]
镇内农作以粮食和蔬菜为主，兼种棉花、油料、豆类和瓜果。镇域出产的「萧山萝卜干」与「绍兴霉干菜」较有名。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2014年6月，环境保护部门授予益农镇「2012—2013年度国家级生态乡镇」称号。全国爱国卫生运动委员会在2020年7月复核之后，把益农镇列为「2020年国家卫生乡镇（县城）」。[4]
2022年1月，益农镇获认定为「2021年度浙江省美丽乡村示范乡镇」；同年3月入选「2022年浙江省美丽城镇建设样板创建名单」（工业特色型）。[4]
2022年11月，益农镇确定为「浙江省数字生活新服务特色镇」，创建领域涵盖数字商贸、数字政务和数字乡村。2020年至2022年，镇三次进入「淘宝镇」名单。[4]
2023年8月，益农镇被列为「2023年浙江省健康乡镇样板」。[4]
2024年1月，益农镇获评「2023年度杭州市现代化美丽城镇市级示范镇」，同时列入「2023年浙江省现代化美丽城镇示范镇」建设名单。[4]
2024年12月，益农镇被认定为「2024年度浙江省A级景区镇」，即4A级景区镇。[4]
