区政府网站2022年概况：村域0.95平方公里，土地680亩，农户378户、1526人。村委会下设10个村民小组，村民代表48人；村党总支下设3个党支部，党员93人。[1]
辖区内设社区卫生服务中心、农贸市场与老年活动中心等服务场所，企业与商铺众多。[1]
交通与产业[edit]
104国道复线与八柯线穿境，镇工业园区设于村内。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
民国属定一乡第十三保；1949年5月后划为凤凰乡十三村；1954年办农业生产初级社，1957年改为八大高级社；1958年公社化后隶属坎山管理区八大生产大队；1959年称坎山乡八大农业生产合作社；1984年定名八大村。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2021年12月列入2021年浙江省卫生村；2023年3月获认定为2022年度浙江省善治示范村；村里还获杭州市级文明村称号。[1][2]
