进化村是浙江省杭州市萧山区瓜沥镇下辖的行政村，位于钱塘江南岸，东临永联村，北接东方村，西、南与瓜沥镇城区相连。村名以解放初组建的进化农业生产合作社得名。[1][2]

地理与人口[edit]

三益线、八柯线及建设四路东西穿村而过，生产湾河与北塘河分别流经村庄。据区政府网站2022年发布的村概况，村域面积2.4平方千米，户籍户数918户，户籍人口3568人；此外还有两处安置小区：友谊永福一处240户、800余人；机场净空区一处114户，约380人。村内常住人口超过7200人。[1]

村内现有大小企业140余家，其中规模以上企业2家，生产型企业35家。浙江省天然气门站与杭州市天然气门站均设在村域内。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

据传村落形成已有二百余年，原为钱塘江改道北移后留下的滩涂，后有绍兴及北海塘一带的农民来此开垦定居，渐成村落。1949年5月后属如意乡第九村，农业合作化时设进化农业生产合作社。[2]

公社化后设立进化生产大队；此后，1984年撤社设乡，改设进化村民委员会，隶属瓜沥乡；1992年撤区扩镇，划为瓜沥镇进化村。[2]
