大义村是浙江省杭州市萧山区瓜沥镇下辖的行政村，位于瓜沥镇南大门，南邻如松村，西与衙前镇接壤。村名原作大义里，因村内有一条大义弄而得名。[1][2]

人口与土地[edit]

据区政府网站2022年发布的村概况，村辖12个自然村，共3089人，女性1581人；耕地1605亩，另有水面约1163亩。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村民以汪、丁两姓为多。汪姓先自绩溪迁至四明（今宁波），再迁入此地；丁姓明初从余姚迁往绍兴，后分支到大义。[2]

1949年5月后属团结乡；1984年起设为昭东乡大义村，1992年起改属瓜沥镇。原辖的三个自然村，即陆家溇、史家汇头与丁家前横桥，已于2010年注销。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2023年3月，大义村获认定为2022年度浙江省善治村。[2]

著名人物[edit]

清代官员汪辉祖（1731年至1807年）出生于大义村。他曾任知县，后被视为绍兴师爷的代表人物。[3]
