运西村是浙江省杭州市萧山区瓜沥镇下辖的行政村，位于瓜沥镇北部，东邻运东村，北面与靖江街道的靖东村接壤。村名因所辖之地原属运西乡而来。[1][2]
村子离萧山国际机场约5公里，三益线与青六公路穿村而过。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
据区政府网站2022年发布的村概况，全村有682户、2542人，设18个村民小组和1个居民组，内外耕地1576亩。村内以种植苗木蔬菜和水产养殖为主，另有绣花、五金、纺织等行业的企业与小作坊。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
运西村所在之地，二百多年前还是钱塘江南岸的滩涂。后来绍兴、上虞以及北海塘一带的萧山农民来此开垦定居，渐成村落。[2]
1949年5月后属运西乡第14组，合作化时设运西农业生产合作社，人民公社化后划为运西生产大队。文化大革命期间曾改称东风大队，1981年复称运西大队；1984年设运西村民委员会，1992年撤区扩镇后划为瓜沥镇运西村。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2021年12月，运西村获评2021年浙江省卫生村。2022年10月，运西村列入2022年淘宝村名单。[2]
