地理与人口[edit]
据区政府网站2022年发布的社区概况，面积0.74平方公里；30个居民小组，合计3040户、6742人，另有在册户811户、在册2124人。党总支之下设两个网格支部，党员74名，预备党员1名。[1]
服务与设施[edit]
有物业的小区包括豪景城、名港城与清华园；另有明朗花园、东灵苑、前高弄、航南公寓等无物业的老旧小区。社区设有灵动艺家服务中心、爱心公社与微型消防站；此外，社区开了公众号，居民文化队伍也组建了好几支。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1992年设东灵居委会；2003年，东灵居委会与前高居委会各取部分地段，合并组成东灵社区。[2]
荣誉[edit]
近年获得的称号有省级老龄工作规范社区、市级科普文明示范社区、市级充分就业社区，区级文明社区、示范性学习社区，以及市文化社区等。2021年5月，东灵社区获评萧山区2020年度“平安村（社区）”。[1][2]
